A few weeks ago Jonathan and I took Colby to Wal-Mart to get his 4th birthday pictures. We had the first appointment of the morning, so he was really happy and outgoing, which was perfect for a photo session. The only thing the photographer ever had to correct him on was that his smile was getting too big!
The cutest thing was at the very beginning....they had the fuzzy white blanket on the table, the one they usually use for newborns. The photographer suggested that as long as it was out, she would try a white background. She asked Colby to climb up on the table (she meant sit), but without being told, he climbed up, lay on his belly, put his feet in the air, and his fist under his chin. She and I both started laughing about his cover model pose, but it was so cute that she took a few pics. She said she's had girls try that pose before, but never a boy! Jonathan just shook his head and said, "He needs a brother so bad." It's a good thing we're just a few months away from that!
But I love these pictures, and I thought it was so cute watching him pose and smile--he loves the camera! And while some people may laugh, I even love his big ol' ears, because he gets them from me, and they're from a long line of big ears in the family!

Amber, these pictures are adorable! I really need to get Dallin's done soon! To answer your question, Lindsay is getting married on Nov. 7th to Jovi Gonzales. She met him working at a hospital in Salt Lake. They have been dating for over a year. We are all excited and he is a great guy!

He is such a cute boy! Beau is paranoid that we wont' have any boys. I hope you are feeling well and not going to crazy having to be on bed rest!
