Spring Break--Woo Hoo! oh, wait........

Today is the first official day of Jonathan's Spring Break from college, and Bailey and I have Thursday and Friday off from the school district. For weeks we've been planning for my parents to watch the kids Wed-Fri, while Jonathan and I go camping alone. It's the only time until August where we'll for sure all have days off together.
But now, what's the problem? First of all, I desperately wanted to camp at Zion, because it's one of my favorite places in the world, and I have camped there since I was a kid. But by the time we were sure my mom could watch the kids, they were all booked up, as well as every other park within 100 miles. So we decided to hope against hope that we'd be able to get a spot at one of the "no reservation" sites somewhere in southern Utah.
Me as a kid at Zion. We used to go there every year for Memorial Day Weekend with all my dad's family.

Next problem? While I felt perfectly fine most of Saturday, by that night I was exhausted. I lay down to rest at 7:30 and didn't wake up until 8 the next morning! I felt terrible all day Sunday and even worse today. I went into the doctor, where I learned that I have.....DUN DUN DUN....BRONCHITIS!!!! Ouch! My throat feels like someone ripped off the outer layer and scraped the insides with a dull stick. Our only hope now is that the antibiotics the doc gave me have me healed by at least Thursday, so we could camp Thurs-Sat.

I had to wear a mask at the clinic because of my cough.

Last of all, not that this would necessarily stop us from camping, but to ice the Spring Break Cake, there's snow on the ground outside. That's right, we had a storm BLOW through this weekend, and today was cold and white, although the sun has broken out and most of it is melting quickly.
