My personal favorite, because it's so....Him. But the little lights reflecting on his face annoy him.
He loves to be outdoors and mountain bike, so this is what he wanted to show in his portraiture. We drove up to the mouth of the canyon with his bike and I just went photo crazy!
This is the picture Jonathan set up and took himself to symbolize him and his background. There's actually a lot of symbolic depth to it, and I was very impressed. (And a lot of photographic depth, too, which he's been learning about in class, and he was very proud of himself for pulling it off in this picture!)
As for the symbolism: obviously, he's a huge basketball fan, but there's more than that. He's from North Carolina and a die-hard Tar Heels fan, but the jersey is Michael Jordan's college jersey, and MJ is from Wilmington, NC, which is where Jonathan is from. We both like this picture a lot. Jonathan already has 2 framed works of his passion, one of Jordan and one of Dean Smith, and now he wants to frame this one and add it to his collection!

Beau says "what a raging hunk of man candy" hahaha! I thought I would clarify those are his exact words so you weren't creeped out thinking I said it! Although- Jonathon you do look handsome in those pics!! Good job!
Hey we need to move back down to Cedar!! Quinntin and Jonathan would have a blast mountain biking!! Great pictures by the way.
