Mini Mohey

This week we signed Bailey up for a Cedar High School Mohey Tawa (drill team) fund raiser, where she got to go for 3 days and learn a dance with the drill team and then perform it tonight at their annual review. She had lots of fun (and got to wear makeup!) and loved watching the older girls dance, as well. The only frustrating thing was that they put her in the very back row, and she's so tiny that it was hard to see her. But I'm afraid that might have been her own fault, because I found out that on Wednesday she was running around and playing rather than paying attention!
Cute story real quick about the makeup. She rarely gets to wear it, and I never let her play in my makeup, so she was so excited about it. After I was done putting on the red lipstick, she smacked her lips together and said, "Now I look perfect. Just like my Meme." (That's Jonathan's mom.) I said, "Meme?!!, wondering why she's the perfect one :-), and she said, "Yeah, she wears this color, too." And she was very proud to be wearing lipstick like her Meme's!

Our friends, the Bunnells, had their daughter, Savannah, in it, too, so we sat together at the review tonight. Watching the girls' faces as they watched the high schoolers dance was so precious, because they clearly just adored and idolized them, especially Jenika, our old babysitter!

Off topic, but funny....this was a little local dance troupe that performed, and the poor girls were wearing the UGLIEST dance uniforms I've ever seen. I leaned over and said as much to Bonnie Bunnell, who leaned back to me and whispered, "Barney called. He wants his camo back." We both started laughing, and I had to take a picture just for the sake of the joke! Thanks for a good laugh, Bonnie!
