While I was attending a recent school assembly (during which Colby and his preschool classmates performed two cute little dances which I would love to share with you if I had more bandwidth), Brycen was happily wandering around the back of the gym exploring. I was keeping an eye on him, even taking pictures of his cuteness. He climbed into this chair cart on his own and sat there and clapped and giggled, quite pleased with himself. So yes, I took a picture. But what I didn't notice was the single metal folding chair balancing on the end of the cart (actually tied loosely on one side). I didn't notice it, that is, until Brycen started rocking the cart, which rocked the chair, which I watched collapse down on top of him, with him still trapped in that hole. Boy, did he scream! It distracted the whole gym full of students, faculty, and parents! Yikes! It took me awhile to calm him down, but after about 5 minutes he was fine and didn't even have a bruise to show for it.
