My current calling ("job") in my ward (of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is as the Beehives adviser, which means I'm a teacher/leader for the 12 and 13 year old girls. I've had that calling before, and I still love those girls, (who are now growing up and going to college!), so I know that it's more than just something I do in the moment. You really grow attached when you work with and serve people, especially the youth. These girls I have right now are so awesome, and I'm also blessed to work with a wonderful counselor, Janeal Christensen. She's a great example of hard work, love, and dedication, and I really have a lot to learn from her.
I hope these girls know how much I enjoy them and care about them--they're so sweet and fun!
These pictures are from an evening activity when we welcomed two new girls into our group by "kidnapping" them from their homes and stuffing them with junk food while we had girl talk. So much fun!
