Friends at the Park

Yesterday a friend of Jonathan's from work asked if our families could get together for a pizza picnic at the park. I'm always up for outdoors fun with friends (and making new friends!), so of course we said yes! We went to the Canyon Park and had dinner and then let the kids play in the ditch for a little while. I've loved that place ever since I used to go there as a kid with my family. The kids had a blast, although I think rambunctious Bailey and Colby might have scared their quiet new friends! :-)
Thanks, Turek fam--it was fun! And thanks to Kaycee (Mommy Turek) for the pictures, because I forgot my camera! (We bloggers stick together, right? :-))

Being able to go to the park at the drop of a hat is one of my favorite things about being a mom.(It will probably get better when he can actually walk.) I feel like I am getting free time with adults and the kids feel like they are getting free time. Parks are the best for families! Some of my favorite memories are playing in the water at that park. I bet you guys had so much fun!

You are the cutest mom... all these fun posts about fun things you do. I need to take a lesson... and Bailey may need to give Hazley a lesson on riding bikes... we're having 2-wheeler bike trauma- big time!!
