On August 11, we finally got the news that we'd been hoping for all summer: Jonathan was offered a position with Nevada State Parks! He had applied for positions at three different state parks and received the job at Kershaw Ryan State Park, just a couple of miles outside of Caliente, Nevada. Yay! After 8 years of college, various jobs, and (now) 11 moves, we're finally somewhere to stay (at least for a good, long while).
A big perk of the job is that we have to live in the official park residence, which is a 3b/2b modular home that's actually quite nice inside. Even though we're losing a room from our Cedar home, the bedrooms are bigger, so we're fitting just fine (and it's forced me to get rid of some JUNK!). I'll add some pictures of our new home soon.
We'd love for our friends and family to come visit us and see the park. It's beautiful and lots of fun, especially in good, warm weather, because of the pool full of natural spring water--so come before it turns cold! In addition to the typical state park attractions, there's a playground, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and more. Here are just a few shots I took today.

Yay that's awesome that he got a job there. That will be so nice for you guys.
You do have the prettiest yard, with a pool -- even if it is only a foot deep.
