Snowy Mountain Pictures

My mom came over to stay with us for 4 days this week while my dad was on a school trip. One day we drove over to my grandparents' house in Panguitch, just for a couple of hours, and on the way back the sunset was absolutely gorgeous. Even though we were trying to rush to make it back for Bailey's gymnastics class, we had to pull over 3 times so I could take pictures that were just too good to pass up!

This one is my favorite. It reminds me of what Jennifer Connelly says in A Beautiful Mind, that "God must have been a painter." I think He still is.

A small rectangle cut out of the entire sky is almost an insult to what this looked like in real life. It literally looked like a fire was billowing up over the other side of this mountain. Picture this for miles in both directions, and you get an idea of the awe that my mom and I were experiencing. Even the kids were wowed by the view.

Ever since I was a child, this specific view right here has caught my eye on just about every single trip I've ever made to or from Panguitch (and I've made this trip a lot!). There are 2 old cabins (more like pioneer homes) in this valley, and I always wonder about their past and the stories of the people who lived in them. It's a stunning view.

wow, that one you said about God being a painter really looks like a painting! I am always outside taking pics of the sunset. I love sunsets! That snowy pic of the road to Panguitch does totally remind me of driving there during the christmas holiday. :)
