Kershaw Ryan Holiday Toy Drive

Jonathan wants to have some fun annual events here at the park for the community to look forward to, and as his first event, he decided to begin a holiday toy drive. They had free cobbler and hot chocolate and free park admittance for everyone who attended, and it was fun! He planned it and pulled it off in just a matter of weeks, and there was a great turnout, considering the short notice and the snowstorm that hit us that night!

Matt, the maintenance man, spent hours building a faux reindeer barn as the center display. They're hoping to add a building or 2 every year.

My mom volunteered to be in charge of the hot chocolate. She's amazing, because she's always quick to help anybody and everybody out, and she always does it with a smile on her face! Thanks, Mom!

Santa Claus came for a visit, and the kids loved him, especially since he had a REAL BEARD!

We were going to take Brycen, despite all the snow, but he wasn't thrilled at all about being squished into this star-shaped winter outfit. It was so cute, though, that I hurried and took a picture before we took it off. He was more than happy to stay in our house with Flo and Julia, who wanted to pass on the snow to watch Pocahontas--in English!
