Happy Irish Day!

In tribute to my Irish ancestors--and Jonathan's!--Happy St. Patrick's Day! While we don't do anything special to celebrate the day (who wants to eat yucky food just for kicks?), I am a believer in wearing green. Since I don't happen to fit in anything green right now, I left it to my kiddies to fulfill the tradition!
And I just want to say how proud I am to be part Irish. I hope to someday visit the land of some of my ancestors and strengthen the connection between them and myself. (I love family history, by the way.)

I make Sheperds pie with green mashed potatoes every St. Pattys day. I can't handle the thought of eating lamb so this irish food works.

What a cute family! Thanks for taking the time with a newborn to keep putting pictures on your blog. I love to "catching up" with you. We miss you.

Yeah we did the green clothes thing too- I was going to make green food for breakfast- like make the milk green or pancakes or whatever, but got to busy! They look cute though...

your kids are so adorable! I love family history too. Brett and I are going on the trek this summer in Wyoming with the stake. We both had pioneer ancestors in the Martin and Willie handcart companies. It's been so amazing to study about them.
